The person in question left the county from the Greater Rochester International Airport on Friday and was at the airport from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m in an American Airlines Flight 4722 to Boston.
Monroe County Health Director, Michael Mendoza is encouraging individuals who were at those businesses and or were on the airline and have not vaccinated before to call their healthcare provider.
Symptoms of measles include runny nose, cough, and fever within the first two-to-four days of the virus. In the second stage, between days three and seven, symptoms include red, blotchy rashes. They typically show up 10-12 days after exposure but can show up as late as 21 days.
